Project agreement comes first
Each project is confirmed through a written proposal, estimate or statement of work. It sets out the scope, payment schedule, deliverables, revision limits, timeline and any project-specific cancellation or refund terms.
Before work starts
You can cancel before work begins by writing to hello@webmaginary.com. Any advance payment will be reviewed against payment-provider charges, committed third-party costs and work already completed. Any refundable balance will be returned using the original payment method where practical.
After work starts
If you cancel after work starts, we may retain the proportion of fees that covers work completed, approved milestones, reserved time and non-refundable costs. We will provide a handover of paid-for completed work where applicable. The exact calculation follows the accepted project terms.
Pausing or rescheduling
Tell us as soon as possible if a project needs to pause. We will try to reschedule it, but extended pauses may affect availability, timelines or fees for work already completed.
Third-party and advertising costs
Domain, hosting, software, stock, payment, media spend and advertising-platform charges are usually paid to third parties and are not refundable by webmaginary once incurred. Advertising spend belongs to the client; we do not treat media spend as our service fee.
Defects and corrections
If delivered work does not materially match the agreed scope, tell us promptly and we will first seek to correct the issue within the agreed support or revision terms. This policy does not limit rights that cannot legally be excluded.
How to request a cancellation or refund
Email hello@webmaginary.com with your project name, request and relevant payment details. We will acknowledge the request and explain the applicable project terms and next steps.
